Context

  • Landscapes differ, but CAT needs to know whether transformation is happening across all of them. On 18 and 19 August 2026, CAT convened a MEL workshop at AAETI, Neemli, to agree a common core of indicators across 14 themes, from agronomy and soil to nutrition, equity and fisheries.

Sandeep's part

  • Co-created CAT's Generalised Outcomes Framework.
  • Maps each landscape plan's activities to its outputs and intermediate outcomes.
  • Wrote the terms of reference for the MEL consultancy and ran the selection.

What changed

  • Every landscape reports against the same framework, so CAT can compare progress across eleven different places.
